Preparing your flight path…
About Everest Heli Booking
CAAN-licensed crews, weather-first planning, and private or small-group flights to Everest, Annapurna, Mustang and Langtang — operated by Nord Extreme Himalaya.
Our story
Everest Heli Booking is the guest-facing brand for helicopter journeys across Everest, Annapurna, Upper Mustang and Langtang. It is operated under Nord Extreme Himalaya P. Ltd. — a Kathmandu-based company founded by Sonam G. Sherpa, with roots in high-altitude rescue support, logistics and mountain guiding long before scenic guest routes opened.
Sonam built the operation around a simple rule: the pilot-in-command decides, weather windows are honest, and the same CAAN-licensed crews who fly cargo and emergency tasking are the ones who fly travellers. That discipline still sits under every fixed departure and private charter on this site.
Alongside Everest Heli Booking, the wider Nord Extreme family includes specialised work in the high valleys and sister experiences such as Mustang Trekking routes into Upper Mustang’s rain-shadow plateau — the same corridors we now connect by helicopter when the itinerary calls for it. Whether you are booking a daily Everest mountain flight or a multi-day heli trek, you deal with one local team that still reads the morning forecast from Kathmandu.
Small groups and private charters, flown by the same CAAN-licensed operators on every departure.
How we operate
It is why schedules include contingency days and why we cancel when the mountain asks us to.
Aircraft and pilots operate under Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal certification, with maintenance discipline treated as non-negotiable.
Departures target the calmest flying windows. Multi-day itineraries carry buffer days so a socked-in morning does not collapse the trip.
Pilots and guides are based in Kathmandu and fly these valleys weekly — not one-off contractors hired for the season.
Route, altitude, and landing expectations are explained before you board so the day feels organised, not improvised.
